The sun stayed out for us this afternoon so we’ve had great fun on the inflatables whilst the volunteers have started to strike camp. We’ve had our final afternoon swim and are now setting up for our last dinner of the week.

Our last day has dawned and the sun has come out. Before the hard work of striking camp starts we’ve got time for a bit more fun, a read of our daily paper, and a dose of sun cream.
Another great day comes to an end on camp. After our neeps and tatties we danced the night away.

We need to keep our energy up so we had traditional fish and chips wrapped in newspaper for lunch and are now broadcasting live on Bucks Scout Radio before the Highland Games start shortly.
The day has started with kilt making, before we have our very own Highland Games this afternoon. This evening we’ll be dancing the Scottish Ceilidh. Listen in to Bucks Scout Radio or download the app to hear more about it 1400-1600 this afternoon.
Today is Scottish day, in memory of Brian who sadly passed away during Covid. Brian was an avid supporter of Agoonoree and volunteered for over 20 years. Unfortunately, due the restrictions, many of us were unable to attend the funeral, so Brian, today is for you.
Whilst the restaurant tables are being laid we’ve been playing ‘splash the camp leader’. After drying off from swimming there will just be time to get dressed up for dinner, we don’t want to miss our bookings. Some lucky customers even have a table on the terrace.
What a great day out we’ve had at Thames Valley Adventure Playground. Plenty for everyone to do whatever their interest.
